Been thinking about one of these as a replacement for my Impreza, since Subaru isn't going to make a WRX wagon.
As for the no manual option, ask any dealer who was cursed with having a Forester XT turbo on the lot. The take rate on them nationally was less than 5%, so dealers had to put a lot of cash on the hood to move them. A perfect example of people saying what they'll buy, and what they actually do buy. :D
